I’ve been thinking a lot about death and what it means to me. For me personally, it’s just the start of something new and daring because it’s uncharted territory which means the start of a new adventure. Whether it be braving a fiery inferno or having a drink with the company of Brutus, Descartes and Ghandi, it’s something so exciting for me that I do not fear it.

But that doesn’t mean I’m okay with death, because as exciting as it is to start this new adventure, I never want this one to end either. I can’t imagine starting a new chapter without the people who matter to the most, because if we were ever torn frim each other, would we even be allowed to wait for each other or would webe forced to move on. At first we say no, but then as time heals us on this side, we change our minds. What if on the other side we don’t even remember?

I think this is what scares me the most about one day dying. Not the pain or sadness but the fact I may forget who matters to me the most and be forced to start anew as if what happened here never meant a goddamn thing.

So death I fight back because I will not let you do this me because if you think I will let you do this to me, you are more than wrong. I will make everyday I have with these people beautiful, bright and so fucking memorable that you will never have enough power to make me forget.

Everything may sound too good to be true, but sometimes it takes a lot of responsibility and love to be able to be as wholesome as possible.
